The experience
Tidewater Letters is an interactive work of fiction delivered in twelve physical installments with a companion private archive. Characters, letters, documents, and events are fictional, even when historical places or figures are referenced. Personalization places customer-provided names and choices inside the fiction; it does not portray real events about that person.
Eligibility and enrollment
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Current checkout is limited to United States shipping addresses. You agree that the contact, personalization, and shipping information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Plans and charges
The Monthly plan charges the displayed monthly price and shipping amount for each paid installment. It renews monthly until the season ends after the twelfth successful payment, unless you pause or cancel sooner. Complete Season and Gift Season plans are charged once and reserve all twelve monthly installments. A gift recipient must accept her private invitation before fulfillment begins. Applicable charges and renewal terms are shown again before payment.
Fulfillment and story choices
Installments are scheduled about 28 days apart. Your response may shape later personalization and the ending, but a missing or late response will not stop a paid installment; the story will continue using its established fallback path. Online reply deadlines appear in the archive. Postal replies may take longer to record.
Scent selection
You may select scented or scent-free correspondence. Scent-free production is handled separately, but we cannot guarantee an environment free from every trace of fragrance. Choose scent-free if you or someone in your household is sensitive to fragrance.
Private access
Your archive link is personal. You may save or print copies for private use, but you may not publish, sell, scrape, redistribute, or use the story, artwork, letters, or production materials to create another product. Tell us promptly if you believe an archive link has been exposed.
Cancellations, delays, and returns
Our Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns Policy are part of these terms. They explain when future charges stop, how shipping delays are handled, and what to do about damaged or incorrect mail.
Availability and changes
We may update the service to improve production, security, or story presentation. If an unexpected delay affects a promised shipment, we will provide the choices required by applicable law. We may suspend access for fraud, misuse, or attempts to compromise another reader’s private archive.
